Les Carroz is one of the closest resorts to the UK and is easy to get to by plane, car or train. We have researched several options and depending on your preference you may find the following information useful.
By Plane
There are several airports close to Les Carroz which opens up a large choice of low cost airlines to suit both your budget and timings. We have personally found that, generally, the cheapest routes are those into Geneva Airport.

By Train
Traveling by train to the Alps is a great experience with an opportunity to sample the wonderful scenery. Cluses is our nearest station which connects with the TGV (high speed train) and is only 20 mins away from Les Carroz.
If pre-arranged we can meet you at Cluses railway station for transfer to Les Carroz.
By Bus
Transfers are available from Geneva Airport to Les Carroz. Timetable and tickets are available at the Les Carroz Tourist Office.
By Automobiles
The directions from Geneva are as follows:
Take the A40 motorway from Geneva direction Chamonix leave at junction 19 signed "Cluses Centre". Follow the N205 towards Sallanches for approximately 3 kms then turn left at the junctions signposted "Les Carroz d'Araches"

There are no petrol stations in Les Carroz! The nearest station is on the N205 near the motorway exit which is 12 kms from Les Carroz - so please refuel before you arrive. We would also recommend, as a precaution, that snow chains be carried at all times |

Private Ski Transfers
Ski Transfers can be privately booked from the airport to Les Carroz if you wish. We would recommend you take a look at the www.skitransfers.com website as this company uses English speaking drivers and they have a variety of vehicle sizes available along with child seats if required.
Taxi
The journey from Geneva to Les Carroz takes approximately 1 hour. If this is your preferred method of transfer please contact us and we will help to arrange the booking.
