Les Carroz is one of the closest resorts to the UK and is easy to get to by plane, car or train. We have researched several options and depending on your preference you may find the following information useful.

By Plane

There are several airports close to Les Carroz which opens up a large choice of low cost airlines to suit both your budget and timings. We have personally found that, generally, the cheapest routes are those into Geneva Airport.

By Train

Traveling by train to the Alps is a great experience with an opportunity to sample the wonderful scenery. Cluses is our nearest station which connects with the TGV (high speed train) and is only 20 mins away from Les Carroz.

If pre-arranged we can meet you at Cluses railway station for transfer to Les Carroz.

By Automobile

The directions from Geneva are as follows:

If coming from the north:

Take the A40 motorway from Geneva direction Milan / Chamonix. Exit at junction 19 signed "Flaine". Follow the N205 towards "Flaine / Les Carroz"  for approximately 2 kms then turn left at the roundabout signposted "Les Carroz d'Araches".

If coming from the south (Mont Blanc Tunnel):

From Chamonix take the N205 direction Geneva. This leads onto the A40 motorway. Continue on A40 and exit at junction 19 signed "Flaine". Follow the N205 towards "Flaine / Les Carroz" for approximately 2 kms then turn left at the roundabout signposted "Les Carroz d'Araches".

Chalet La Cortiena - Once in Araches La Frasse pass the church on the left and continue up the hill. Take the first lefthand hairpin bend then take first left into "Route de Marie". Follow this for 50 meters round a sharp right into "Route de Frevuard" La Cortiena is 30 meters up on the lefthand side.

Chalet Virage - Continue through Araches la Frasse up into Les Carroz.  You will enter the main square, continue straight on following the signs to Flaine.  Continue on this road for approx 700m and just before the first hairpin bend there are 2 chalets together on the left, we are the second one with a Ski63 sign outside (there is also a yellow sign on the right advertising Hotel Airelles).  The village map can be found on our website on the resort page.

Ski Transfers can be privately booked from the airport to Les Carroz if you wish. We would recommend you take a look at the  www.geneva-airport-transfers.com or www.ski-lifts.com they have a variety of vehicle sizes available along with child seats if required.
